What a year!

2025 saw a record number of Treats baked just for you!

I almost fell over when I pulled the year end reports! Thank you just doesn’t seem like a big enough word to let you know how much I appreciate and love your never-ending support and your purchases. Baking each Treat for each order also means that no Treats were thrown away or given away. Each one made its way to a rider’s super-special pony or horse!

All of the late nights, all-nighters, early mornings, hours in the car, supplier visits, tons of desk work, buckets of dough, gallons of icing, and setting the timers thousands of times was soooo worth it!

Guess how many Treats were baked and decorated for 2025? Ready? Drum roll please… 13,159! Let’s break that down!

What a year! 2025 saw:

• Over 3,000 custom Treats! Thank you to the barns, trainers, and corporate partners for trusting me with your brands, and for all that you do for our sport.

• A pretty even split between Large Cut and Mini Treats! It was cool to see that the thick, thin, and softer-bake Treats are equally loved.

• A new offering… XL Cut Treats ~ baked just over 100 of those!

• Innovative packaging tested using professionally printed custom cards in place of crinkle paper when packaging custom-branded and XL Treats.

• I love my 3D printer and finally got to making my own cutters!

• Minimized edible printing and focused on hand-decorating

• The greatest feedback and the kindest words of support from you!

2025 saw 128 Themed Sets!

That means across Large Sets of 5–7 Treats, Perfect Pony Peppermint Bark, Mini Sets, and individual Large–XL Treats, there were 128 individual themes. Custom Treats are not included in this fabulous stat.

Prizes Galore! From day one, I have made sure that I give back to our sport. This year, The Equine Bakery generously donated just over 500 Treats to 15 events across North America and the UK. Individual Competitor Treats and Prize packs, shipped for free, made their way to Shows, Fundraisers, Giveaways, and Award and Sponsored events.

Perfect Pony Peppermint Bark reigns supreme as one of your favourites, followed by DOTS!, and Large Sets. Thank you!

If Treats had passports, they would have stamps from Canada, the United States, the U.K., Australia, and Europe. Thank you to everyone for your patience when shipping Treats.

For me? I learned A LOT, and I love it! Five years in, and I am constantly listening and learning from you, the industry, and my mentors. This year presented the biggest challenges... I kept the bakery running while working in Florida (WEC Winter Circuit) and on the A Circuit as a groom, completed my first semester of university, and still found time to be with my friends.

To keep the bakery going this year, I asked for help. I am so grateful for my parents, my extended family, my barn family, and friends for their never-ending support. I’ve lost count of how many ribbons my grandma has cut, how many Treats my dad has baked, and how many my mom has based, iced, and packaged. Pretty sure we can tie bows with our eyes closed! And to my friends who have helped deliver your Treats ~ thank you, thank you, thank you!

So… a Bake Break! During this time, I’ll restock ingredients, sketch new ideas, shop and support the amazing sprinkle and sugar shops, and experiment with packaging to reduce waste (although it is all recyclable), update the calendars with shows, and move back to university with the team ready to go!

2026 will kick off with Valentine’s Day Treats!
